At the time of writing, I actually had just undergone my second Vitrectomy a week ago.

On the second month after my first vitrectomy fixing my detachment, the doctor discovered there's a membrane, i.e. Epiretina Membrane grow covering up my macular, hence preventing it from feeling. I think it's like your case now.

The operation is over, and now in healing process with gas bubble in my eye (even today as I was typing, still 50% bubble there).

I see that my vision is not back to normal, but glad to learn from you it will take 6 months plus to see the improvement. It helps provide some assurance.
