Ya, fundamentally coding is a science. However many-a-times, programmers get too immerse into the science until missing the non science part of it. People and business skill is getting more and more crucial, as the basic logic side of work will slowly be taken over by the software itself.
Code abstraction is good, so we minimize the need to change everything, and hopefully reach the other side. Unfortunately, if ain't careful, we might try abstracting across the continent, where we can't see, and might never reach.
