Lol ... I agree that "laugh out loud" is better than "lol". But that doesn't change the fact that the newer generation is heading there.

Similar in programming languages, many are opting for concise code as the tools aid in eliminating the need of ceremonial and seemingly redundant code.

It's okay for us to disagree. But it's not really up to us to decide which is really better. We are seeing code evolve on, and style evolve on. And tools play much role in shaping that.

I once dislike people writing "lol" or say lol. What's that? But that doesn't stop the world heading there. So I join them :P
