Hi Hasret Topalovic.

I was not in favor of all the “new way” 20 years ago when I was a C++ programmer. The hardest part is when I transition to the newer languages, I notice the change and find it hard to align myself with the newer language style and its community, and question them.

It took me a while to readjust myself to it, and then I realize there’s another view to look at them. I find myself now with a different viewpoint now and share my experience.

I agree these are preferences. It’s just that these are the preferences of the newer languages, and newer coders, that might define the future of coding. Time will tell.
