Thanks for your review.
I do code reviews since decades back, where we still print out code on paper and take home to review them so that the next day we come to the office and have a review meeting in a room together. Those days, the code needs to be read in the paper, hence text-based recognition without any syntax color is critical for us to know the code better.
However, times have changed. Even Github or any text editor has improved to made code reading so much easier. The great use of IDE to improve code and prevent simple error, and make good code make review less focus on the syntax, but rather on the code algorithm and architecture flow.
Indeed, IDE has changed the coding world a lot, and we can’t deny the use of tools has evolved the way we do things.
Like it or not, the pencil is no longer the main way to write a letter. Legibility using a pencil is no longer a concern.
