In the past, we can just plug in an NTFS External Drive to a MacBook (Intel-based silicon), we will get a read-only mode, where we can read and use the content on the drive. (Not write though)

After moving from a normal Intel-Based MacBook to M1 Macbook (Apple-Silicon), one problem faced is, we can no longer read an NTFS (Windows-based) External Drive.

With a quick search on the internet, the solution below

Clearly, this is an iBoysoft website, hence the iBoysoft got listed first. And it’s not free. So I tried Mounty instead, which is second in the list.
